TKT Preparation

The TKT Preparation Diploma is a full-time course designed for international students.

During these four weeks students will learn varied techniques for teaching reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation and also greatly improve their English. Each week students will also observe other ESL teachers to learn an array of instruction styles and methods.

Lectures will be given from Cambridge’s TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) Program so students will be able to better challenge this internationally recognized examination. Practice tests will also be given weekly from TKT past examinations so students can familiarize themselves with the test format and difficulty.

In addition to weekly in-class microteachings, TKT Preparation students will have the opportunity to teach beginner English students on a weekly basis.

After finishing this course students will be given placement priority at PPC’s Cambridge TEST Center if they wish to challenge the official TKT Examination.
